BOPHELO CIC exist to reduce poverty for the public benefit by working with people who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, belief, age, or creed to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society, by:
We reduce poverty through sustainable food production, provision of food parcels, teaching cooking skills and promoting healthy diets and fitness.
Increasing, or co-ordinating, opportunities for people at risk of mental illness to engage with service providers, to enable those providers to adapt services to better meet the needs of that community.
Providing them with an opportunity to build capacity, networking, and a platform that encourages and enables them to participate more effectively with the wider community.
